On entering St Austell from the east on the A390 proceed through three sets of traffic lights, go under a railway bridge and after another 60 metres you come to a roundabout (Charlestown is shown as the first exit). Take the second exit, continuing on the A390 for about 60 metres and turn left onto Porthpean Road. Continue for about half a mile, through the crossroad, past the hospital on your right. Turn left into Porthpean Beach Road. Our drive is three metres before the first lamppost on the left.
